Description
Les arboriculteurs et arboricultrices suivent le rythme des saisons.
Les travaux sont consacrés à la taille, au greffage, à la fumure, à l'irrigation, à la plantation de jeunes arbres, à la protection phytosanitaire.
La cueillette nécessite un fort engagement de la part de tous les collaborateurs et collaboratrices de l'entreprise : récolter, trier, entreposer, emballer les fruits. L'arboriculteur doit travailler avec des machines et du matériel moderne et performant.
Il produit de nombreuses variétés de fruits : pommes, poires, abricots, cerises, pêches... en fonction des demandes du marché et de ses intérêts.
